Dogma and Greed the reasons why property transactions fail

Submitted almost 7 years ago by Alan Barry

When it comes to selling property any type of property; offices, warehouse, shops, apartments or homes, there are two types of sellers that always fail those who won't change their minds and those that are too greedy.

The auction clearance report from Corelogic today shows both types are now making up over 30% of vendors.

Vendors are not acknowledging the residential property market has changed and prices are down hence the 68.8% clearance rate down from 82% last year.

There is a fundamental principle when auctioning your property and that is you need to meet the market if you want to sell or lease for that matter. This seems obvious and yet we struggle to sell or lease property because owners whether they be vendors or landlords fail to grasp this principle.
